Solidarity Across Oceans

This poster commemorates the struggle of workers at Bridgestone-Firestone tire plants worldwide, which peaked from 1994-1996. Workers went on strike for over two years and actions were held in 60 countries against the company.  They won gains on nearly all major issues and built solidarity across oceans.

The phrase “Black Flag Firestone” comes from auto racing, in which a black flag indicates a disqualification or unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
